Ross Mullan is a Canadian born actor now living in the UK for some 27 years. He began performing at a young age and has worked in mask and physical theatre companies and toured nationally and internationally with shows such as East of Eden, David Copperfield, Christmas Carol and Sherlock Holmes. He played Orsino, in Bath Theatre Royals production of Twelfth Night, the title role of the Selfish Giant for Leicester Haymarket Theatre and brought the critically acclaimed play Thick from the Edinburgh festival to New York City with sold out performances. Ross is also an established puppeteer and trained with Jim Hensons company in the early 90’s. He puppeteered and voiced Nev the bear on the widely popular Smile and Bear Behaving Badly for CBBC. He is also recognisable as the creepy Numbertaker from Cbeebies The Numberjacks. Ross is probably most famous though for his role as The WhiteWalker on HBO’s Game of Thrones and The Silence and The Teller on BBC’s Dr. Who. He also cameoed last year in SyFy’s cult franchise Sharknado 5 Global Swarming. Ross will soon begin filming on Loose Cannon’s “Perpetual”, an adaptation of Lee Thomas’ book The German.
